Not all gifts have dollar signs. Your gently used household items, returnable cans and bottles, pet supplies and food are much appreciated and make a real difference for the animals!

Thrift Store Donations

Your contributions of gently-used goods stock our Thrift Store! We accept clothing, household items, kitchenware, tools, jewelry, books, craft supplies at the store during open house. We’ll happily provide a receipt for you to itemize among your tax-deductions, along with a smile and a sincere thank you.

The OCHS Thrift Store is located at 1193 Bay St., Florence, OR 97439 and is open Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Please note: OCHS does not accept firearms, paint, fur, feathers or animal parts* or soiled, chipped or damaged items. Please wash clothing prior to donation.

*with the exception of food, wool, or leather goods like shoes or belts from farm animals such as cows, pigs, chickens and sheep.

Pet Food Bank

Can’t use that bag of kibble? Changing brands of canned food? Dog just didn’t go for those treats? Your donations of pet food and supplies save the shelter money and help neighbors in need take care of their beloved pets. Open bags are fine as long as items are in their original package.

Wish Lists

OCHS also maintains an Amazon wish lists for current high-need items. Order online and have your gift shipped directly to OCHS. Check our Amazon wish list and back often to keep up to date on items we need.
