Oregon Coast Humane Society created our Community Pet Food Bank so that no animal ever goes hungry. Every month our Community Pet Food Bank feeds over 350 local animals, allowing our neighbors to focus on feeding themselves and covering other necessities. Local neighbors are welcome to enroll in our program, either online or in person. We do our best to meet specific food allergies and needs when those pet foods are available.
If you’d like to help support our Community Pet Food Bank, we welcome donations of any brand of cat, kitten, dog, and puppy food, wet or dry. We also accept open containers of pet food, so when your pet gets picky and decides they no longer want their current brand, please consider donating what’s left to OCHS.
Our Pet Food Bank is a hand up to help when our neighbors need it the most. Please note that OCHS cannot provide food to breeders or other people who are adding to the pet overpopulation crisis in our community.
To support our mission of ending pet overpopulation, we can also provide resources to help you spay or neuter your current pets. You can complete a Spay/Neuter voucher or stop by the shelter to learn more.
